Yes, I know that we are literally halfway through June, so this post is just a tad behind. Things got a little busy around here, as is life with two always busy kids. For my first New Release Highlight post, it will be mostly Mystery/Thriller, as that is what I read the most of and currently know the most about. However, as we move along and I dive deeper into the chapters of other genres, I promise to have a broader span of knowledge on upcoming releases.

May

Kicking off the Spring with my most anticipated new release, "The Daisy Chain Flower Shop" by Laurie Gilmore. A little fun quip, when I first started reading The Dream Harbor Series with "The Pumpkin Spice Cafe", it was hard for me to get into. Like I mentioned before, my genre is Mystery/Thriller, so Romance/Cutesy was a new experience for me. Now, here I was ticking down the days until the sixth book in the series was to be released so I could plunge back into Dream Harbor and visit all my old friends again.

Laurie Gilmore has built the perfect little town with the most beloved inhabitants; I cannot spread enough love about this series. If you haven't started this series yet, I don't know what you're waiting for! And, of course, I have all 6 books in stock for you!

June

Only released last Tuesday, "Harvest Season" by Brynne Weaver is probably on top of everyone's need-to-read list this summer. This is the second novel of the Seasons of Carnage trilogy, with "Tourist Season" being the first. No name for the final novel yet, but I'm going with "Holiday Season" as a stab in the dark...pun intended.

Full transparency, I have not read "Tourist Season" yet, but it is on my bookshelf and I am patiently awaiting for BOTM to have "Harvest Season" available so that the covers match, iykyk! However, if this trilogy is anything like her Ruinous Love trilogy, I won't be able to put them down once I have finally cracked them open.

July

For all my Fantasy genre lovers, this month is for you! Sarah Beth Durst is releasing her third novel in The Spellshop Series, "Sea of Charms". Another fun little quip, when I was younger I was all about the fantasy genre: Harry Potter, Twilight, Divergent, Hunger Games, the Pretties and the Uglies, Inkheart...so, so, many! I honestly forgot how immersive these worlds could get until I picked up this series, and I am so excited to continue it next month!

August

Okay, y'all, if you have not read "Love, Mom" by Iliana Xander, stop everything you're doing, do not pass go, do not collect $200, until every word has been consumed by your brain. Seriously, so good, and I do have it in stock...wink, wink!

Moving on, Iliana Xander is releasing another masterpiece on August 25, "Bad Intentions" Not only does it have a beautiful cover, but it is almost guaranteed to have just as many beautifully mastered plot twists.

September

Another series that is on my TBR list, and that I have personally gifted to my reading gal pals, is releasing the third novel. "They Know If You've Been Bad or Good" by Alta Hensley.

Last little interesting fun fact about me this evening, I am a sucker for catchy titles, especially when they are paired with just as catchy covers. Yeah, yeah, don't judge a book by it's cover...well these are festive and I love them!

Until Next Time

Hopefully some of these tickled y'all's fancies. I got things to do, little peoples to get to bed so I can get to bed, and, of course, books to read! Toodaloo!
